In recognising the need for all hospitals to focus on reducing energy consumption and to become self-sufficient by generating their own energy from renewable energy sources, the RES-Hospitals project aimed to provide European hospital stakeholders with the tools to make the best energy-related decisions.

The RES-Hospitals project is now complete, but the website and resources will remain available.

This report provides an overview of the RES-Hospitals project, which was sponsored by the Intelligent Energy Europe programme over a 30 month period between 2011 and 2013.
